about

This album features the complete concert that Under the Dome played on 17th September 2005 at the National Space Centre in Leicester, UK. Under the Dome was the only act on the bill that night. The concert consisted of two sets and an encore.

There was also a surprise extra encore - a cover of "Soul Limbo" by Booker T and the M.G.s - to celebrate England's Ashes win over Australia earlier that week. There were quite a few sniggers of recognition when those opening bars of cowbell sounded out! Unfortunately, it's Bandcamp policy not to allow cover versions, so you'll just have to listen to the original version after "Espresso Shake" to get the effect.

This show was intended to be the final live appearance of Under the Dome, but Steve Jenkins persuaded us to play one last set during Hampshire Jam 7 - "The Final Encore".
